I had a very nice haircut by a sweet lady, unfortunately she didn’t introduce herself so I didn’t catch her name. I recommend this place as I think that they are quite experienced and you will like the result, but the service was lacking for this type of salon considering the prices. The salon looks a bit old and not so cozy, I also wasn’t offered anything to drink and had to wait for my turn even though I came on time for my appointment and actually was rushing a lot not to be late. I live in Switzerland and punctuality is a big thing there, but maybe it’s normal for French salons..

ATTROCIOUS/HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I paid 800€ overall and I am extremely disappointed in the result. Never coming back to this Hair Dresser. Firstly I asked for a soft balayage and it ended up being a full on striped blonde/grey. The bleaching product was left in way too long; which ruined my hair. Secondly I did hair extensions, and the result was absolutely horrible. I wanted to do blonde extensions which ended up looking grey and black. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional as I went to complain. She did not try to find a solution for my problem and said I am responsible for choosing the extensions that I did. I do not recommend this hair dresser to anyone and will never return. If your hair matters to you then don't enter this place :)

I went to Dessange while on vacation in Nice for a spontaneous haircut, looking for something a bit new and fresh. I was nervous going since I do not speak French (I’m from the U.S.), but I was received well. I did not catch the woman’s name who provided a wonderful and relaxing shampoo, but I believe it was Evgeniia who cut my hair. I showed her pictures of what I thought I wanted, and she gently guided me towards what she knew would work best for my hair type and face shape - something I always look for in a stylist but rarely find. She also provided hair product and styling recommendations. Overall, she gave me a new “French coiffure” that I would be too afraid to ask for without her recommendation (I have always kept my hair medium-long length), but that I absolutely love! Thank you!

I had the most unpleasant situation at the salon. I have booked shellac manicure and pedicure that after one day started peel off my nails all because the lady told me she has no time to clean my cuticles and do the pedicure because for that I need to book only normal manicure and pedicure. What sense does it make?? On top of that I paid 70 euro just for shellac colour!!! After I went and spoke with the personnel and left my details to be contacted by the manager and have a refund and until now nobody contacted me! So for this price and this disrespect I would not suggest you to have you nails destroyed at this place, because now my nails are very weak, not clean and without shellac and not even 1 week passed since the I went here.

Best hairdresser I have been to, sublime haircut easy to manage and Jean-Sébastien is super talented and very welcoming, they even cut my son’s hair with no appointment, will definitely be back even though I do not live in Nice. Highly recommended!

I had a horrible hair color experience in this salon last week. After agreeing that it was bad and needed to be fixed they attempted three times to fix it - each time becoming worse. I left with my hair in a conditioner and a bun. The color technique needs to be updated - it should no be trial and error. I had requested dark blonde low lights in my hair and end up as a very dark brunette with ashy grey highlights. I had to go to another salon for 6 hours to correct my hair in the end. Steve was my coloriest.

What a horrible service! I came in asking for a haircut with the head of hairstylists (I later found out that this request was not honored). When I arrived ON TIME, the hairstylist I was booked with had not even started the blow dry on his other client. I was seated next to him without even the slightest acknowledgment or apology that he’d be very late. 25 minutes later, still, no one said anything. No one offered a glass of water or a magazine or even at least to start shampooing. I saw that he still had another 15 minutes left of the blow dry, so I asked the hostess to move my appointment because by that point it was going to be 30-45 minutes late. She was very pushy to leave my very delayed appointment instead of just moving it to another day and wasn’t even apologetic. I was a first time client and I will not be back again.

Superb haircut by Sasha ❤️ 15 years of creative and regular cuts at Dessange… I got so lucky by getting a walk in appointment for next morning.
