    I was recommended this salon by a friend who has visited this establishment for several years so, I willingly went to get my hair cut here. I was very happy with my new wash haircut and blow wave, turning my long, heavy and tired hair to a lighter vintage glamour effect ✨. I believe the lady’s name was Amoua, and she placed a lot of effort in making my hair beautiful which in turn made me feel beautiful for the rest of my Paris trip—Merci Beaucoup! I hope to visit again on my next trip to Paris.

    I am going to this hairdresser salon for now almost a year and I am very happy about the quality of the service. Gino does such a good job with my hair and especially for my brushing. The staff is very welcoming and take good care of every of their customers ! I highly recommend !

    Had the worst haircut yesterday with Celine. Showed her a picture and she told me she was going to take two inches off. I left with my hair barely reaching my shoulders (my hair stood at 3 inches below my breast). Extremely disappointed given I have my graduation in a few weeks and I will now look like a complete fool. Strongly do not recommend.

    Thumbs up and 5 stars for this Dessange salon. It's more than a salon it's an oasis of wellness in the heart of the busy Madeleine area.Go there with confidence and let Cyril and Taous welcome you so warmly, really listen to you , treat you as if you were some celebrity and perform their highly professional and artistic skills. Cyril is the only colorist in years who found the right beautiful copper brown shade for me. That salon is more than just another dessange salon, it's got soul.

    The worst! Absolutely worst experience. Disorganized appointment meant that we had to wait for over an hour and a half between the hair wash and the blow dry. Very inexperienced staff and the owner was screaming - yes screaming at the top of his lungs - at one of the clients who complained about the wait. Plus they push a lot of extra "treatments" like hair masques, conditioners with no regard to price. It will ruin your trip to Paris, stay away.

    This is what happens when you decide not to pay attention to bad reviews. I've chosen this place just because it's was near the place where I had to participate to an event. I've called and described on phone what I wanted checking the price in advance (50€ for washing and combing), when I arrived, they kept asking if i wanted a cream for hairs and I kept saying no. While washing, the girl asked if I'd like some conditioner (in all the beauty salons of the part of the world I've been to, the conditioner is a part of washing unless it's not a special treatment). Well, in the end they let me pay 15 euros more for something I wasn't told it wasn't naturally included. Avoid this place!!!

    I asked if they could see me right away and the answer was "bien sur Monsieur" ,of course. After 45 minutes of waiting, I see the stylist who doesn't stop pushing products. I bought one, not knowing a tiny little bottle would cost 25 Euros. Basic cut, lasting about 10 minutes, was Euro 60. Total cost Euro 100 for what in the end was a 10 minute haircut. I would never go back and don't recommend them. Far too expensive for they offer.
