Loved my experience here! Stylist was super nice and communicated in English and made me feel comfortable. Was very happy with my outcome! Would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Paris

A great hair cut every visit! It holds it shape for a long time! Cyril is great, funny & super talented! He takes walk-ins if he's got the space. Book in advance is recommended. Cyril also speaks English in order to help you feel understood. Cyril has been trained by the best & knows his craft. Cut, color & style; do yourself a favor & book an appointment. Support independent businesses!!!

I have been going to Gil St Luc for over 6 years now, even though now I live on the other side of Paris. Cyril is and has always been extremely accommodating, friendly and professional and delivers a perfect haircut every time. It is always a pleasure to go and see him in the salon. Don't look anywhere else, give Cyril a call and he will be à votre service !

I have been getting my hair done, colored and cut, by Cyril for many years now and have never had anything other than a pleasant experience, and I leave his salon looking great every time. He is friendly, kind, caring, takes pride in his work, and is never disrespectful. I am American with little to no French language skills living in Paris, and he accommodates me by speaking English. Of course this is not necessary as I am a foreigner in this country and it’s my responsibility to accommodate accordingly but he does it because he is a nice person. Granted, sometimes his English is a bit inaccurate but I understand because my French is awful. That being said, he is always professional! I highly recommend this salon. He is busy because he is that good, so appointments are probably best to ensure you can get in. Although, I know he does take walk ins when his time allows and people should understand when they are turned away based on his schedule being booked.

The best barber/hairdresser ever! So attentive to ones needs and not expensive at all. I went through a few barbers in the years I spent in Paris before I found Gil, then I never went anywhere else.

Before I visited this place, I was swayed by the google ratings and recommendations of the hair dresser saying he’s a friendly guy. This was the exact opposite of my experience that day when I went for a walk-in one day at 8PM (place closes at 9:30PM). When I asked if I can get a blow dry, I was met with sarcasm and laughter from the hair dresser and the person whose hair he was cutting. “8PM, in Paris?! You’re too late. Hahaha.” “Tourists think they can just walk in hahaha.” “I have other CLIENTS who actually bothered to call ahead!” Extremely rude and condescending. Wow, sorry I came to the place a whole ONE AND A HALF HOURS before they closed. Honestly, until Parisians become a bit more warm and friendly to visitors (I’m not even a tourist, I go there on business), people will continue to talk about how lovely the city but not its people. Client servicing there is a joke. All this person could’ve said in a friendly tone is that they don’t accept walk-ins as a rule. That’s it, I would’ve completely understood and respected their way of working. But that was rude and uncalled for.

Cyril is amazing and listened so well to what I wanted! I can't wait to come back soon!
