When I came out of the salon, my hair looked really beautiful and it was styled very well by Patrick. When I washed it three days later… it looked really quite bizarre. Unbalanced, disproportionate, choppy, chunky, puffy in the middle, skinny on the length… I had to return hoping it would be fixed in the back - I wished to remove some length so that it wouldn’t be so deeply layered, but Patrick was quite defensive and didn’t want to. He also refused to acknowledge how insanely asymmetrical it was, which is so obvious (see photos). I had high hopes - Patrick seemed very confident and capable during my first visit… Perhaps he did not really understand my hair. I do wish he had taken the time to examine my hair dry before going straight to wash it (especially for a first appointment), as he would have perhaps better understood the nature of it. I think he underestimated that while I have a lot of hair, it is fine, and you cannot cut so deep into the mass - otherwise I am left with a tail in the length, which now what I am left with. And I wish he had bothered to ask me what I was looking for (he didn’t) before he picked up the scissors… I had to interrupt and explain I wanted light layers and to leave the length. It was not a question of long or short layers - it was a question of layers not being 85% of my hair, with the length at 15% (otherwise known as a V-cut, which is the most difficult to grow out to get your hair mass and length back). And a V-cut is definitely not light layers. Unfortunately, I also wish he had checked his work regarding the symmetry - there was very obviously one side shorter than the other in the back, leaving a hole. Undoubtedly, he’s a good hair stylist as the blow drying was fantastic (and I’d highly recommend for that); but for haircutting and customer experience, it is not good. While I am very detailed and observant, I am often satisfied by experiences in salons in NYC, Milan, Paris. This is probably one of the worst haircuts I’ve had simply because he had no interest in hearing what I wanted or in even looking at the hair he was cutting beforehand, and because it’s incredibly asymmetrical ! I had a lot of hair that was full - now it’s half the pony tail that I had before and the tail- effect is so disheartening, with holes in the front and back. A note about scheduling: please get a second phone number for the second salon or an online coordinated planner. Clients are double or even triple booked (the first time, Patrick didn’t even know I had an appointment; the second time, he was doing a clients hair elsewhere and we were two clients with the same booking-time waiting 30 minutes at the salon for him to arrive, and then I waited another 30 minutes for him to finish). Update: 5 weeks later, I have received no apology or even an attempt of a refund. I had to cut SEVEN CENTIMETERS of my hair to even it - it will take almost a year to grow back. I did a photoshoots and a performance - three different hairdressers from these events were horrified by the unevenness and asymmetry. The other hairdresser that had to chop off that much hair weeks later was also horrified. My hair was down to my mid back and today it is now up to my mid shoulder blade. Shame on this salon.

There are Haistylists and this is the Hairartist category. These hairstyling geniuses offer you art! They know how to satisfy and delight even the most demanding customers. A salon that's well worth the diversions because it's currently the best in Paris. All the ingredients are there to offer you a magical interlude, the decor is sublime, the team is welcoming and attentive, and the service is magnificent ... the price is reasonable and well worth every single euro spent.

Amazing hair salon, very nice and professional! I went there for a haircut and experienced a nice hair shampoo with head massage. The haircut was exactly what I asked for which is usually rare! Totally recommend the place!
