I had a fantastic haircut and balayage here! Gerardo was so lovely to chat to and gave me a superb haircut, I am absolutely delighted with it. Everyone at the salon was really friendly, and I would definitely recommend - and thanks again for such a great haircut :)

I was thrilled to find an English speaking Hair stylist in Lyon. Michel was very friendly and courteous and put me at ease. It was my first hair salon experience in Lyon, and as a foreigner and a person who does not speak French very well (I'm learning, though), I was a bit apprehensive. However Michel and the staff made me feel quite comfortable and the place has a friendly ambience. The hair cut was superb and he recommended some good hair products as well. Will definitely revisit :)

I was visiting Lyon from Los Angeles and really needed to have my highlights done. I was so happy with the service I received at Caracteres. Camille did my highlights and trim and she was excellent. She knew exactly what to do to get me back to my California blonde. Michel (the owner) speaks very good English and was helpful in the communication process. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this salon. If they can make an LA lady happy, I think they can do just about anything!

The BIG "WOW"...exquisite, excellent hair mastery...an understatement with absolutely no exaggeration whatsoever. Michel is a capillary wizard with his magic scissors...and Camille, coloriste extraordinaire, is positively painterly with a keen eye and deft hand in highlight application...working with the client's skin tone. They are both masters at their art...with incredible listening skills and fantastic senses of humour...did I mention warmth?! A RARE FIND. I had arrived, almost in tears from an 'unfortunate' (read: disaster!) cut and colour experience at another salon in Lyon. Michel and Camille expertly not only repaired the damage done...but literally transformed my cut into the modern, smart and edgy Jean Seberg-like style I so desired. Instant fan...I have found my hair experts and salon. Impressed...SOLD!
