I am confused about this salon, they seem to only be able to do highlights even when you ask for something else. Only until now, they well doing these highlights ok, but last time I went they ruined my hair colour... 1st time, I went asking for baleyage, I got nicely done baby highlights instead. Not quite what I wanted but looked ok 2nd time, I went to a different person, asking for a baleyage/flamboyage, and I got highlights overall that made me look a bit too blonde. 3rd time, I went to a different person, I asked for a baleyage with a dragged root, and to extend my one face-framing front highlight up to cover its root... but I got a full head of baby highlights making me look too blonde. The face framing is gone. There is very little of my base colour left, it is all blonde :( The hairdresser took over an hour to apply bleach. That meant uneven processing time... which resulted in a rainbow of blonde colours from orange to pale yellow on my head. I have superlight highlights *under* the surface highlights which are more orange. This is obviously looking weird and very unnatural, as it is the *reverse* of what the sun would do :/ Her sectioning was also random - some pieces of hair she painted were 15cm wide, some were literally 1cm. The hairdresser also applied the same 20 vol bleach on my (already bleached) ends of hair, overprocessing them and making them too light. Really bad for the integrity of my very thin hair. Good hairdressers I have been either do not touch the already bleached parts or apply a 7-10 vol on them. The effect is just not what I wanted, not baleyage, too blonde and too colourful (orange and light). To make it look the way I want I would need to have lots of lowlights put in and a darker root drag. This place should invest in training in baleyage techniques. The more I look at my hair the more I wonder why I even agreed to pay for this... it will cost me twice as much at least to fix my hair :( My quest for a good blond baleyage hairdresser in the Geneva area continues.

Extremely Happy - Highly recommend them I loved the people and I loved the quality. There you go a few reasons why I highly recommend it to you: - Client reception and client treatment: as soon I've arrived, they've offered me a coffee and asked me to explain them what I was looking for. And what I really liked is that all the time they were nice and smiley. - Organization: they are very well organized. They give you an early appointment, so you don't waist your time by waiting in the shop. - Quality: they made me the exact hair colour and hair cut that I was looking for. Just perfect. - Price: really good price compared to the quality. If you go during the week between 12:00 - 14:00, you have 20% of reduction. - Language: they have some English speaking hairdresser, so if you don't speak French you can ask for it. P.s. thank you Ana for the colour and thank you Emily for the cut. You have done really a great job. :)

As a family, We all use studio 54 for our haircuts; never had a problem. Staff are kind, welcoming and helpful. Coffee offered and a good chair massage as you have your hair washed. Highly recommend but you need to book ahead as always busy, which again is a good sign.

I am very happy with the result. I think it is the first time in my life that the hairdresser gets exactly what I want: just a simple cut to trim the ends. not more!!!! Very kind and nice people. My french is very limited and I was able to explain myself in french because the girl there was very patient and nice! But some hairdressers there speak english or spanish, so no problem if you want to be sure they understand you. I will repeat for sure!

Avoid this salon and use one of the many others in the local area. The staff do not listen to your requirements, and instead cut and style how they think is best. It is extremely poor value for money, and I would question the training of some of the staff. Despite the poor quality, the staff are quite welcoming and friendly, but it is simply not worth paying extortionate amounts of money to end up with a style that you may not have wanted or like. I cannot comment on any of the other local salons, but strongly suggest that you try one of those over this one.

The stylist messed up the colour when dying my hair and it came out bright orange. When I complained she took me back to the sinks and put in another product (presumably more dye) that darkened it and made it an acceptable colour for a human being, but still redder than I would have liked and not what we had agreed on in the sample book. She also managed to splash dye on my face and hands and I had to go back to get it removed. For a week afterwards I was finding the residue in my ears. And all this for 180 euros - the most expensive cut/colour I've had in my life (and it's not like you're paying for the surroundings of a fancy swanky salon).

Comes without saying, but make sure you're hairdresser speaks English if you don't know French, or come with pictures or something. I didn't, and as a result, am not very happy with the outcome. My friend who went with me was very happy, and her hairdresser was fluent in English. So it's hit and miss.
