My wife and i eloped in Marseille so I needed to find a barber to prepare for the day. Upon contacting Le Barbier de Marseille i got a great feeling about the owner, Mehdi, and the place overall. They immediately put the entire shop at my disposal from allowing me to get ready there, have photos and videos taken, as well as sip on some delicious bourbon! When the actual day came for my appointment, Mehdi and his staff, welcomed me in with open arms. I felt humbled by how much pride the entire staff took during the entirety of my appointment (even other appointments looked like they were getting the same attentiveness); from setup to when I left, it felt like I could just stay there all day! My barber, Vincent, did a great job with the head and beard shave, shaping my beard to look amazing and a very relaxing facial. The pictures taken by my party were great, but Mehdi is also a photographer and he took some photos as well. That felt like i was a model. It was great! If you're in Marseille and need to go see a barber, there is only one place to go: Le Barbier de Marseille! Thank you Mehdi and staff

I wanted to go for a shave and a haircut and made an appointment an hour later. The owner was very friendly and helpful. However, at the time of my appointment, it was understood that I only had a haircut, as apparently the receptionist screwed up the information I gave. Very disappointing. The place seemed nice, like a traditional barber shop but they only had time for a hair cut, as they were closing in 1/2 hour. I just left.
