I came in with dark blonde hair and dark brown roots, and booked for balayage— requesting a more natural look with reduced contrast from my hair at the time. At first when I left it was fine, but over time I started to notice that it was very high-contrast, and the application was messy— highlights placed different distances from the root, spots left out, etc. I called to seek a resolution and was blamed for waiting too long to call.

I went to this salon after seeing a TikTok review recommending it for blonde hair in Paris. This was the hair I walked out of the salon with and paid €220 for. So stripey and uneven colored (purple/gray tone underneath and yellow/white on top). I told the stylist I was unhappy with my hair and he was not receptive to my complaints even though I was clearly upset. He even asked other clients in the salon to give their opinion on it, which is extremely unprofessional as it is my hair and my opinion is the only one that matters. At first he was reluctant to fix it and wanted to schedule an appointment next week. But after pleading with him he accepted to fixing it the next day. He also turned very unfriendly after telling him I didn’t like it. The next day he toned it to a color that was close to my natural hair color, and while the result looks better because it’s less white and therefore the stripes are less noticeable, I still paid €220 for hair that I’m not happy with and will still have to get fixed by my usual stylist at home. On top of all this, he wanted me to pay an extra €100 for fixing it! I couldn’t believe it. I would not recommend this salon unless you like stripey, chunky looking highlights. It is clear that the stylist is overbooked to make more money and doesn’t do a quality job on his clients. While I was in the salon the first time, there were two other girls in there simultaneously getting their hair colored and he is the only one working. There is no way you can receive a quality balayage while the stylist is doing three at the same time. In fact, I was in the salon for over 5 hours, and sat with bleach on my hair for over an hour because the stylist was occupied with the other girls. Just an overall terrible experience, a huge waste of money, and I wish I had never gone here.

Not a good hairdresser I ask to cut my hair two fingers and he cut like 6, he offered me a hair treatment I said yes and at the end he FRIED my hair the straightener that he uses is awful. I came because I did not wanted to wash my hair at home and now my hair smells terrible. I was late for the appointment for 10 minutes and he let me waiting for almost 1 hour. I do not recommend at all

He made me wait an hour before seeing me. I asked for a bob and he did exactly what I could have done myself at home. No technique, no product, and did not listen to what I said in terms of styling. Plus, I had to correct him multiple times on how to give me the cut I wanted and I still need to get the cut corrected at another salon. I recommend going somewhere else.

I had an awful experience here. The stylist was rude and told me that I smelled bad (lol what??). I asked for a simple bob and brought reference photos. The stylist cut my hair with a buzzer, basically going around my hair in a circle. After this, he did absolutely no touch-ups, not picking up a pair of scissors once. He didn't even trim my bangs. My hair is uneven, with no shape and random pieces of hair hanging down. It looks like it was cut with a steak knife. I was also charged 10 euros more than the price listed on the website. I reached out to the salon for help and received no response. Seriously, don't waste your money - you will be left embarrassed and with a horrible haircut.

During my appointment, the stylist was very rushed and was unreceptive when I wanted to suggest changing things at the end. When I asked to come back in for a simple change a week after my appointment, they told me I needed to pay the full price again and rudely insisted that it was my fault for not knowing what I wanted in the first place. This "rule" was not mentioned on their website or at my appointment. The entire experience was disappointing and frustrating, I will not be coming back.

I have gotten my highlights done with Ailton 3 times and it gets better and better each time! For my first two years in Paris, it was a hassle to find a stylist that did blond highlights like I was accustomed to in the US. Ailton consistently does incredible blond highlights and has a nice, calming environment (with Otto the puppy!)

A beautifully appointed salon in a peaceful street in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. I've been going here to have some regular colour touchups and always been content with the service! Communication is clear, kind and chatty, the results have always been great and it's very easy to book!
