    First day in Paris and I wanted a haircut from abroad so I decided to come here as a walk-in. Berekya is delightful and accommodating despite our language barrier (I speak poor French and am fluent in English). My haircut and blowout came out so beautiful. She took my suggestions seriously and constantly asked if I liked the length and style of the haircut throughout the process. Love my summer haircut!

    Based on the recommendations I saw here I made a reservation at Berekya and after 3 years of living in Paris I have finally found "ma coiffure". I got faux locs installed, for the time, and although I was there for most of the afternoon I am ecstatic at the results. My hair had two lengths and Berekya really took the time to make sure the locks would latch well, with shorter parts of my hair. Five stars all the way.

    I needed a blow out for my wedding weekend and was concerned with finding a simple option near Gare du Nord that could handle my very long thick hair. Berekya was very accommodating despite the language barrier (I speak very little french). The "hiccups" that I encountered - my reservation in the system did not appear when I arrived despite a confirmation email and was advised that I needed to add a conditioner treatment due to my hair length - were all handled with grace and kindness. My hair looked fabulous afterwards and I highly recommend!

    I desperately needed my hair trimmed while visiting Paris, and this shop happened to be in the neighborhood where I was staying. They were kind enough to fit me into their busy schedule, and I got a great haircut. If I lived in Paris, I would definitely make this my regular place.

    Berekya is very warm and welcoming. She listens carefully to your requests and style suggestions and, exceeds expectations. She offers advice on products to use and really understands Afro-textured hair. Very good with children as well. Highly recommend!

    My girlfriend had a wash and blow dry. Despite her very limited French, the woman was amazingly accommodating and did a beautiful job. Also, a beautiful singer ☺️
