If you're looking for a Black hair salon in Paris, stop looking. Nicole is fantastic. Professionalism - check Skill in hair health - check Artistry in the styling - check I was traveling to Paris and booked the appointment with Nicole 3 months early. I arrive early to learn that there was a snafu where my appointment was on the calendar for the next day. I begin a minor freakout as I had my wedding the next day. Nicole handled it like a champ. Even though she was scheduled back-to-back all day, she agreed to do my hair in between scheduled clients. I was there all day but she got it done, gave me a great cut, and I left feeling gorgeous. I could have cried I was so grateful. Paris is not a town where I've experienced many (any?) people willing to go above and beyond. Nicole is the exception. This is now my new "hair home" for when I'm in town. P.S. The wedding photos turned out great and my silk press looked amazing!

Oh, man! I’m so happy to have found HIGH QUALITY hair care in Paris. This elegant little place is tucked away in an exclusive neighborhood in the 16th, but it has the warm cozy feeling of your favorite hair salon ‘back home.’ Nicole is truly an angel (no, seriously, y’all— she is an angel.) After she personally did my shampoo, my scalp and hair literally rejoiced and said, “Hallelujah!” I was referred by a friend who got a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, blow-out and trim. Her hair looked so healthy and vibrant that I had to come myself. I’m so glad I did! I got a shampoo, deep condition, blow dry, and individual braids with synthetic extensions. The braider was gentle and efficient. My tender head had zero complaints. I totally recommend this place for all your hair needs. I know that I will be back.

Nicole corrected my color disaster and cut my hair to perfection. Her salon is clean and beautifully decorated to allow her patrons the best possible experience. She told me that I would not need to come in for a few months and she was correct. My short hair style has been super easy to manage and it takes me no time to style and go. I am hooked!

Have know Nicole all her life. She’s trained under myself and Renee of SF USA to name a few. Nicole had the gift of beauty designing at the age of 12 or before. Divinely gifted. A perfectionist. The best ever! Exceeds expectations always. If it’s not right, she’s not doing it. A personality when it comes to hairstyling pay close attention to detail.

I love this salon. Nicole and her staff are very professional and friendly. You can feel that Nicole just LOVES women wants the best for them. Not only on the outside with beautiful healthy hair but also on the inside! She gives great professional advice for haircare at home and her products (particularly the hair conditioner) are the TRUTH !!! It really helped with my 2 year old weekly routine ????. I highly recommend this place!

This is the first time I have ever written a google review, but I had such a bad experience, I felt it only right to let others know. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon in my life. The sad thing is I came here to treat myself. I don't normally go to "fancy" salons, but I wanted to go somewhere I thought I could trust to get a simple haircut. My hair was in very good condition and I just wanted a little cut off. It was a man who cut my hair (not sure of his name), even though I specifically made the reservation online with Nicole. He carelessly and quickly chopped a huge chunk of my hair from one side, a lot shorter than I wanted, without properly measuring it. I ended up with one side much shorter, uneven, and choppy. I left the salon crying. This was in March and I still am so upset by it. I had been trying to grow my hair out and it was finally getting some length. I have never seen a trained hairdresser cut hair like this man did. I would have honestly been better off cutting it myself, and that is not an exaggeration. It is quite shocking that this happened at an "upscale" salon that is supposed to specialise in curly hair. I felt like he didn't take the job of cutting my hair seriously, and I felt and still feel like what he did was a violation. Yes, I received a refund, but at the end of the day, what they took from me was several months, if not a year's worth of length. That is worth so much more, I would pay a lot to get that back. I have already spent hundreds of euros in braids since March, and I will spend hundreds more on braids for the next several months/year until it grows back. I would really think twice before going here. I wish I never went. -----To reply to your comment below Nicole, unfortunately you were not at the salon to witness the job that Marco did, but it surely wasn't professional. I'm not sure "sour" is the appropriate word to use about how I'm feeling. All I'm doing here is stating the facts. My experience is valid. To say that every 1 star review is a misunderstanding, while implying that every 4 star review is accurate, is simply not realistic. My haircut was not "bad". It was bad. It's not like I asked for a fringe and then decided I didn't like it when I got home. Half of my hair is drastically shorter than the other, and choppy all around. He cut several more inches off than I asked for. By anyone's standards, certainly a professional's, that is bad.

Nicole is the G.O.A.T when it comes to healthy hair and her team is the real deal! I moved to Paris from the US and was not certain who I could trust with my natural hair but I found Nicole on IG and booked my appointment. Nicole was professional, full of good energy and she slayed my first hair cut. This was back in January 2017 and she is the only one who I have trusted with since living in Paris to do my hair. She even did my first color for me summer of 2019 and my hair is still flourishing and curls poppin! I highly recommend Nicole and the IBE Team.
