what an incredible experience! i sat down and asked the price for the various services (cut vs shampoo and cut, blow dry etc) - and the response was "we will give you a written estimate." why couldn't she just have said the price, and then written it down afterwards once i had decided? it was strange. normally a shampoo is relaxing with a bit of massage. but the two people shampooing were chatting - with each other, not with me - the whole time. i felt like i was an annoyance, getting in the way of their catching up. it was not relaxing at all! it's always so uncomfortable when the stylist smokes, because the smell of smoke on her fingers was so strong. i guess even washing her hands wouldn't be enough? after the blowdry, they asked for my birthdate. seriously? so they can sell it to marketers? why in the world would they need my birthdate? i was really offended. then when i got home i realized that the cut was really uneven. i was able to cut some of the long pieces, but some are at the back of my head so i have to wait until next weekend for my daughter to help cut it straight. next time i will save a lot of money and just have my daughter cut it in the first place. really incredible!

As a regular customer of Lise, and in need of a last minute appointment, i went with Zeynab after reading the many positive comments here. Worst than that, i took my boyfriend to her as well!! She is nice and has that sweet aunty energy, but zero skills i am sorry to say!! I ask for a simple v-shaped cut as i always do here, which is pretty straightforward, but she wouldn’t listen to me for the length, (i was willing to sacrifice the v shape). The scissor strokes were so visible (my mom could have done those visible lines). Lise always cuts them in the tips to make them look natural and not barbie hair. But worst of all was her skills in men’s cut which was a DISASTER, it looked like the grass cut by a kid with the uneven strocks visible in the hair, we made her go over it again or else it was initially a bowl cut. I was so disappointed, especially after having read the comments here, but she actually asks her costumers to leave good reviews with her name attached. Lise never NEEDS to do that! I understand now why Zeynab is easily available while we have to wait weeks to have an appointment with Lise. I am not giving less than 3 stars out of respect for Lise, otherwise it was a 1star experience.
